vintage underwear screen printed laundry bag
Inspired by The V&A’s fantastic collection of Georgian and Victorian undergarments, this laundry bag will give you a discrete and stylish receptacle to keep your ghastly unmentionables out of sight, whether in your room or in your suitcase!
I hand cut printing blocks for each garment, and used these prints to create a silkscreen image, which I then printed onto soft and natural cotton drawstring bags.
I heat fix the bags, so they are washable at 30 degrees, on a gentle cycle (I recommend you turn the bags inside out to wash).
Due to the nature of the hand printing process, each bag is unique, and may have very slight variations.
Each bag measures approx 38×48 cm, and is printed using water-based, eco-friendly inks.
