Daruma ornament, lucky grumpy Daruma hanging ornament, hand screen printed
This screen-printed fabric ornament features a grumpy looking Japanese Daruma, thought to bring luck and encourage perseverance to achieve your goals.
I screen-printed the design in red and black on natural coloured calico, and backed this with black and white soft brushed cotton fabric. The Daruma smells delicious as I’ve tucked some cloves inside the soft toy filling before sewing it together.
11cm long including tassel, 8cm wide, 3cm deep.
Front: 100% cotton calico, water based printing ink
Back: 100% brushed cotton fabric
Filling: 100% polyester toy filling and whole cloves
